Grapevine fanleaf virus (GFLV) (genus , family ) causes fanleaf degeneration, one of the most damaging viral diseases of grapevines. Despite substantial advances at deciphering GFLV-host interactions, how this virus overcomes the host antiviral pathways of RNA silencing is poorly understood.
