In this study, a new electrochemical sensor was designed based on a hybrid of polyamide (PA) and chromotropic acid (CA) nanofibers electrospun on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) configured as PANFs-CANFs/GCE. The electrochemical response of this sensor showed an excellent electrochemical activity for the detection of Hg ions using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) methods. The proposed sensor exhibited the prominent electrocatalytic value of (α = 0.

The aim of this work was to fabricate a novel nano-fiber modified electrode, involving Lake Red C (LRC) pigments doped into electrospun polyacrylonitrile (PAN) fibrous films. Cyclic voltammetry (CV), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) techniques were used for electrochemical and morphological characterization of the composite fibers. This sensor responds to Aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) over the concentration range of 40-120 nM with high accuracy and precision in analysis.

In this work, silver nanoparticles were synthesized and stabilized with 11-mercaptoundecanoateanions to produce a new Ag@MUA core shell structure, and its utilizing for fabrication of a new sensing film. Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) were electrochemically produced and simultaneously immobilized into the electropolymerized polypyrrole (PPy) film with the reduced graphene oxide (rGO). The Ag@MUA was then grafted to the surface of GC/PPy-AuNPs-rGO film using L-cysteine (L-Cys) linker agent and trifluoromethanesulfonic anhydride (TF2O), at ambient temperature and under the electrode stirring.

In this work, electrochemically synthesized gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) and α-polyoxometalate (α-POM) (K7PMO2W9O39 · H2O) were simultaneously doped into electropolymerized polypyrrole (PPy) film using the cyclic voltammetry (CV) technique. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and CVs were used to characterize the composite films. The PPy-α-POM-AuNPs modified gold (Au) electrode was used to determine folic acid (FA) using square-wave voltammetry (SWV).
