Septic arthritis of the pubic symphysis, so called osteomyelitis pubis is the infection which involves pubic symphysis and its joint. It is a rare condition, representing less than one percent of all cases of osteomyelitis. It affects most frequently young athletes and women undergoing gynecologic or urologic surgery.

Prevalence of metabolic syndrome in patients with rheumatoid arthritis in Morocco: a cross-sectional study of 179 cases.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is associated with an increased risk for cardiovascular disease (CVD). The prevalence of metabolic syndrome (MetS)-a major contributor to CVD-in RA seems to be increased, suggesting that systemic inflammation and antirheumatic therapy may contribute to its presence. We aimed to determine the prevalence of MetS in RA, to identify the potential factors associated with its presence, and to evaluate the influence of antirheumatic drugs on the occurrence of MetS in a cohort of Moroccan patients with RA.

Ankylosing spondylitis associated with Sweet's syndrome: a case report.

Introduction: Sweet's syndrome is an acute neutrophilic dermatosis characterized by a diffuse dermal infiltrate of mature neutrophils. In most cases, it occurs as an isolated phenomenon (idiopathic Sweet's syndrome) but it can be drug induced or associated with a variety of underlying diseases such as infections, neoplasms, and chronic inflammatory diseases. The association between Sweet's syndrome and ankylosing spondylitis is rare.
