Background: During its course, spondyloarthritis (SpA) may be associated with extra-articular manifestations affecting several organs. Renal involvement is one of the most common extra-articular manifestations and is dominated by secondary amyloidosis (AA), immunoglobulin A (IgA) nephropathy, and urolithiasis.
