Introduction: The aim of this study was to evaluate the outcomes of different urethroplasty procedures as well as two novel techniques, invented in our center, in management of urethral complications after total phallic reconstruction.
Material And Methods: Different urethroplasty procedures were conducted according to the urethral pathology for 36 cis-male patients with urethral complications after total phallic reconstruction including meatoplasty, visual internal urethrotomy, staged Johanson urethroplasty utilizing either buccal mucosal graft or skin graft (Tiersche-Duplay principle), non-transecting urethroplasty (Hieneke-Miiklulicz principle), excision and primary anastomosis, as well as two novel techniques: urethral closure under a suprapubic tunnel and abdominal pedicled skin flap urethroplasty. Each patient was routinely evaluated one month after surgery and every 3 months for 12 months, with clinical evaluation, uroflowmetry and post-void residual urine.
Objectives: Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) is the most common cause of the Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (LUTS) in ageing men. TURP is still the gold-standard procedure for the treatment of LUTS-BPH, however new minimally invasive modalities like Urolift procedure has been introduced.
Methods: Patients with prostate size up to 100 g were offered both treatment modalities.
Aims: This study aimed to detect possible risk factors related to upstaging of clinical stage T2 organ-confined (OC) to non-OC (nOC) bladder cancer (BC) following radical cystectomy (RC).
Settings And Design: This was a prospective multicenter study.
Subjects And Methods: This is a multicenter prospective study including 196 Egyptian BC patients undergoing RC from January 2017 to February 2019 at Cairo University, Fayoum University, and Menoufia University.

Aims: The aim of the study was to investigate the relation between baseline prostate volume (PV) and the improvement of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) induced by tamsulosin monotherapy after 2-year follow-up in Egyptian benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) patients.
Settings And Design: This was a prospective comparative multicenter study.
Subjects And Methods: Three hundred and eighty-one BPH patients were included in the study from January 2014 to January 2017.
To compare the expression of two promising circulating micro-ribonucleic acids (miRNAs 21 and 221) in patients with prostate cancer to subjects without cancer and to evaluate their potential role as specific noninvasive molecular biomarkers for prostate cancer diagnosis, circulating miRNAs 21 and 221 expression profiles were analyzed in 20 men aged 50-75 years, presenting with lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTSs) and undergoing transrectal ultrasound (TRUS)-guided prostate biopsy based on either elevated serum prostate-specific antigen (PSA) (>4.0 ng/ml) or suspicious digital rectal examination (DRE). The performance of miRNAs 21 and 221 in differentiating prostate cancer from nonmalignant cases was evaluated and compared to DRE and elevated PSA.
