Background: Prospective study objectives. A sagittal balance is a good tool to improve the functional outcome of spine spondylolisthesis surgeries, primarily noted that it has a good impact in deformity surgery and then applied to every spine surgery and the aim of this study is to evaluate its functional outcome when considered in preoperative planning for non-dysplastic low- and mid-grade spondylolisthesis surgeries.
Method: Forty patients diagnosed as low- or mid-grade non-dysplastic spondylolisthesis had undergone surgery at Cairo University after failed medical treatment had been evaluated preoperatively by measuring the sagittal balance parameters which include SVA, spinopelvic angles, lumbar lordosis, pelvic tilt, sacral slope, and pelvic incidence and then measure it along a follow-up period of 1 year postoperatively started from February 2018 and correlate it with functional outcome using Oswestry score (ODI)and VAS.
Background: One of the most preventable errors of a surgeon's career is operating on the incorrect surgical site (ICSS). No study in any specialty has ever investigated the incidence of ICSS events in lower-income countries. This study focuses on identifying the occurrence of these events along with an analysis of potential causes leading to these unfortunate events.

However, indications are limited to a subset of patients, so it is not routinely performed. Therefore, the surgery is technically demanding, although it has evolved in recent years.

However, the mechanisms by which VE-UHMWPE particles trigger a reduced osteolytic activity are unclear and remain to be investigated. Therefore, the current study aims at exploring a possible anti-osteolytic mechanism associated with VE-UHMWPE particles.

Bone marrow stimulation technique, one of the surgical techniques for the cartilage injuries, is characterized by technical simplicity and less invasiveness. However, it has been shown to result in fibrous or fibrocartilaginous repair with inferior long-term results.
