Introduction: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a heterogeneous disorder characterized by hyperandrogenism and chronic anovulation. It may also influence thyroid hormones. Increasing evidence suggests that PCOS is linked with an increased prevalence of thyroid diseases such as nodular goiter, autoimmune thyroiditis, and subclinical hypothyroidism (SCH).

Frequency of Cardiovascular Manifestation in Patients With Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Introduction Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic, inflammatory, systemic autoimmune disease. The increased inflammatory burden in RA may result in atherosclerosis, myocardial infarction (MI), and subsequent mortality. In this study, we will determine the frequency of cardiovascular manifestation in RA patients through history, laboratory workup, and echocardiography.

Correlation of Leptin With Acute Myocardial Infarction: A Case Control Study.

Introduction: Leptin, a satiety hormone, has the ability to inhibit hunger and is thus, a regulator of body weight. Leptin is also elevated in cardiovascular events such as acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and hence is considered as modifiable risk factors for AMI. The purpose of this study is therefore to investigate the correlation of leptin with AMI.

Introduction Hypertension is a very common risk factor for erectile dysfunction (ED). In recent time, changes in lifestyle has led to an increase in the prevalence of hypertension, which has increased the risk of ED.
