Beneficial effect of balloon mitral valvotomy in reducing severity of associated tricuspid regurgitation.

This study was done to find out whether successful balloon mitral valvotomy (BMV) reduces the severity of associated functional tricuspid regurgitation (TR), and if so, which variables predict this reduction.
