The use of tissue bioengineering strategies in dentistry has gained relevance. Many studies indicate that stem cells associated with biomaterials can regenerate intraoral tissues and have been applied to patients with cleft lip and palate (CLP). One of the treatments is alveolar bone reconstruction through bone grafts, where the bone is removed from the donor site and placed in the alveolar cleft.
