Machine Learning Enabled Performance Prediction Model for Massive-MIMO HetNet System.

To support upcoming novel applications, fifth generation (5G) and beyond 5G (B5G) wireless networks are being propelled to deploy an ultra-dense network with an ultra-high spectral efficiency using the combination of heterogeneous network (HetNet) solutions and massive Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO). As the deployment of massive MIMO HetNet systems involves a high capital expenditure, network service providers need a precise performance analysis before investment. The performance of such networks is limited because of presence of inter-cell and inter-tier interferences.

Elastosis Perforans Serpiginosa: a D-penicillamine induced dermatoses in a patient with Wilson's disease.

Long term use of D-penicillamine for Wilson's disease can be associated with many adverse reactions and systemic side effects. We report the case of a 28-year-old male patient diagnosed with Wilson's disease presenting with a serpiginous raised violaceous skin lesion in the anterior aspect of the neck over the last six months and two small papules with central umbilication during the last month. Histopathological examination of skin lesions demonstrated transepidermal perforating channel, and the Verhoeff's-van Gieson stain showed marked increase number of irregular serrated elastic fibers suggesting the diagnosis of D- penicillamine induced elastosis perforans serpiginosa.

Ancient Schwannoma of the Infratemporal Fossa: A Case Report.

Introduction: Ancient schwannoma of infratemporal fossa arising from the trigeminal nerve is very rare in clinical practice.

Case Report: A 65-year old male presented to the outpatient department with a progressive swelling over the left parotid for 5 years and pain during chewing for 6 months which was diagnosed as benign spindle cell tumour on cytology. The tumor was excised with a combined transparotid and transmandibular cervical approach and the final pathology was confirmed to an Ancient Schwannoma.

Prescription audit and active feedback are a proven method to check the irrational prescription. To analyze and compare the utilization of drugs, the World Health Organization (WHO) proposed daily defined dose (DDD)/100 patient days and days of therapy (DOT)/100 patient days to measure utilization of AMAs.

Limitations in workforce size and access to resources remain perennial challenges to greater progress in academic veterinary medicine and engagement between human and veterinary medicine (One Health). Ongoing resource constraints occur in part due to limited public understanding of the role veterinarians play in improving human health. One Health interactions, particularly through interdisciplinary collaborations in biomedical research, present constructive opportunities to inform resource policies and advance health care.

IgG4-related sclerosing cholangitis- A great mimicker.

IgG4-related disease (IgG4 RD) is a multisystem disorder characterized by tumefactive (mass forming) lesions, storiform fibrosis, and IgG4-positive plasma cell infiltration. IgG4 sclerosing cholangitis (IgG4 SC) is the biliary manifestation of IgG4 RD, often in association with autoimmune pancreatitis (AIP). Here, we report two patients with IgG4-related cholangitis mimicking primary sclerosing cholangitis.

Efficiently cleaved HIV-1 envelopes: can they be important for vaccine immunogen development?

The enormous diversity of HIV-1 is a significant impediment in selecting envelopes (Envs) that can be suitable for designing vaccine immunogens. While tremendous progress has been made in developing soluble, trimeric, native-like Env proteins, those that have elicited neutralizing antibodies (Abs) in animal models are relatively few. A strategy of selecting naturally occurring Envs suitable for immunogen design by studying the correlation between efficient cleavage on the cell surface and their selective binding to broadly neutralizing Abs (bNAbs) and not to non-neutralizing Abs (non-NAbs), properties essential in immunogens, may be useful.

There is a desperate need for safe and effective vaccines, therapies, and diagnostics for SARS- coronavirus 2 (CoV-2), the development of which will be aided by the discovery of potent and selective antibodies against relevant viral epitopes. Human phage display technology has revolutionized the process of identifying and optimizing antibodies, providing facile entry points for further applications. Herein, we use this technology to search for antibodies targeting the receptor-binding domain (RBD) of CoV-2.

Viral vectored vaccines are desirable alternatives for conventional infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) vaccines. We have recently shown that a recombinant Newcastle disease virus (rNDV) strain LaSota expressing the spike (S) protein of IBV strain Mass-41 (rLaSota/IBV-S) was a promising vaccine candidate for IBV. Here we evaluated a novel chimeric rNDV/avian paramyxovirus serotype 2 (rNDV/APMV-2) as a vaccine vector against IBV.
