Methods: Data from cataract procedures registered in the National Cataract Register during the month of March from 2010 to 2017 were record linked and sent to the Swedish Prescribed Drug Register, which allowed us to determine which eye drops the patients had obtained from 3 months presurgery to 2 weeks post surgery.
Results: During the 8-year study period, 54 889 surgeries were registered.

Materials And Methods: In this prospective observational study, a total of 30 patients with OHS, who were subjected to BIPAP therapy, were included. The peripheral capillary oxygen saturation (SPO), partial pressure of carbon dioxide (PCO), body mass index (BMI), and body composition indices, including total body fat (TBF), total body protein (TBP), total body mineral (TBM), and total body water (TBW), were measured using standard procedures at baseline and one week, one month, and six months after the onset of treatment.

Methods: We obtained retrospective data from the Swedish National Cataract Register on patient self-assessed visual function before and after cataract surgery based on the Catquest-9SF questionnaire. We identified patients who self-reported similar or more difficulties postoperatively than preoperatively, and looked at possible causative variables such as sex, age, preoperative and postoperative corrected distance visual acuity (CDVA) and refractive errors, and ocular comorbidity.

The use of exoskeletons as an aid for people with musculoskeletal disorder is the subject to an increasing interest in the research community. These devices are expected to meet the specific needs of users, such as children with cerebral palsy (CP) who are considered a significant population in pediatric rehabilitation. Data Sources: Hospital medical records and MEDLINE and PubMed databases.
Study Selection: Any patient who developed lower limb neurologic symptoms during a period of concurrent venoarterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation and intra-aortic balloon pump support, with subsequent MRI changes involving the spinal cord, from 2006 (the year of institution of venoarterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation in our ICU) to 2014.
This survey was completed on 600 medical residents in 19 randomly selected teaching hospitals from three Iranian medical universities to delineate some possible factors associated with medical residents' awareness of and attitude toward 11 specified areas of physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R). Fifty-four percent of the participants had a history of consultation with physiatrists. Male residents and those with history of general medicine education in a university having a residency program in PM&R were the most likely to consult with physiatrists.

Methods: A total of 850 patients registered with G6PD deficiency were included in the study. Variables including age, sex, time and cause of hospitalization, cause of haemolytic crisis, positive history of blood transfusion, G6PD enzyme deficiency, blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and creatinine were recorded based on a standard questionnaire.
Neural networks appear well suited to applications in the control of communications systems for two reasons: adaptivity and high speed. This paper describes application of neural networks to two problems, admission control and switch control, which exploit the adaptivity and speed property, respectively. The admission control problem is the selective admission of a set of calls from a number of inhomogeneous call classes, which may have widely differing characteristics as to their rate and variability of traffic, onto a network.
