Negative-capacitance field-effect transistors (NC-FETs) have gathered enormous interest as a way to reduce subthreshold swing (SS) and overcome the issue of power dissipation in modern integrated circuits. For stable NC behavior at low operating voltages, the development of ultrathin ferroelectrics (FE), which are compatible with the industrial process, is of great interest. Here, a new scalable ultrathin ferroelectric polymer layer is developed based on trichloromethyl (CCl )-terminated poly(vinylidene difluoride-co-trifloroethylene) (P(VDF-TrFE)) to achieve the state-of-the-art performance of NC-FETs.

Two-dimensional (2D)-layered material tantalum disulfide (2H-TaS) is known to be a van der Waals conductor at room temperature. Here, 2D-layered TaS has been partially oxidized by utraviolet-ozone (UV-O) annealing to form a 12-nm-thin TaO on conducting TaS, so that the TaO/2H-TaS structure might be self-assembled. Utilizing the TaO/2H-TaS structure as a platform, each device of a β-GaO channel MOSFET and a TaO memristor has been successfully fabricated.

Very recently, stacked two-dimensional materials have been studied, focusing on the van der Waals interaction at their stack junction interface. Here, we report field effect transistors (FETs) with stacked transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD) channels, where the heterojunction interface between two TMDs appears useful for nonvolatile or neuromorphic memory FETs. A few nanometer-thin WSe and MoTe flakes are vertically stacked on the gate dielectric, and bottom MoTe performs as a channel for hole transport.

Band-like transport behavior of H-doped transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD) channels in field effect transistors (FET) is studied by conducting low-temperature electrical measurements, where MoTe , WSe , and MoS are chosen for channels. Doped with H atoms through atomic layer deposition, those channels show strong n-type conduction and their mobility increases without losing on-state current as the measurement temperature decreases. In contrast, the mobility of unintentionally (naturally) doped TMD FETs always drops at low temperatures whether they are p- or n-type.

[Purpose] To present an efficient treatment regimen for patients with cervicogenic headache by comparatively analyzing the neck disability index (NDI) and cervical muscle activity after an exercise intervention. [Participants and Methods] Thirty patients with cervicogenic headache were assigned to the cranio-cervical flexion group (n=15) and cranio-cervical flexion plus transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) group (n=15). [Purpose] The present study aimed to conduct a comparative analysis of changes in mechanical characteristics of cervical muscles and cervical posture in patients with cervicogenic headache following exercise program intervention in order to present effective treatment methods for such patients.
