Background: This study aimed to characterise the clinical and epidemiological profiles of dengue patients and their outcomes during an ongoing outbreak in a non-endemic region of Bangladesh.

Methods: This prospective observational study analysed 805 confirmed dengue cases during August-December 2023. Data on demographic, clinical and laboratory profiles, as well as outcomes, were gathered using a structured questionnaire.

A case report on incidentally detected pulmonary sclerosing pneumocytoma: a diagnostic challenge.

Introduction And Importance: Pulmonary sclerosing pneumocytoma (PSP) is a rare non-cancerous lung tumor that is usually asymptomatic, but may cause respiratory distress if it becomes large. PSPs are often detected incidentally because of their slow growth, lack of symptoms, characteristic radiographic features, and increased use of imaging studies. Although it is not a malignant tumor, it can mimic malignancy on imaging and histology, leading to misdiagnosis and unnecessary surgery.

Such violence significantly disrupts healthcare delivery and the attainment of universal health coverage. This study aimed to comprehensively evaluate the prevalence, nature and associated risk factors of workplace violence (WPV) against physicians in Bangladesh.

Effectiveness of emicizumab in preventing bleeding events in severe and moderate hemophilia A: A single-center experience in Bangladesh.

Emicizumab is a monoclonal antibody that bridges activated factor IX (FIX) and factor X (FX) to replace the function of missing activated factor VIII (FVIII) in hemophilia A patients irrespective of FVIII inhibitor status. This study assessed the effectiveness of emicizumab in preventing bleeding episodes in patients with hemophilia A. This observational study included patients with moderate to severe hemophilia A who were undergoing episodic FVIII replacement therapy.

Background: High rates of obesity are a significant issue amongst Indigenous populations in many countries around the world. Media framing of issues can play a critical role in shaping public opinion and government policy. A broad range of media analyses have been conducted on various aspects of obesity, however media representation of Indigenous obesity remains unexplored.
