Speech recognition acceptance by physicians: A temporal replication of a survey of expectations and experiences.

A replication survey of physicians' expectations and experience with speech recognition technology was conducted before and after its implementation. The expectations survey was administered to emergency medicine physicians prior to training with the speech recognition system. The experience survey consisting of similar items was administered after physicians gained speech recognition technology experience.

High-risk HIV minorities in the United States: who gets tested and where?

Objectives: To assess characteristics of high-risk populations tested for HIV at particular testing sites.

Methods: BRFSS data (N=20,633) was used to quantify rates of HIV testing and identify specific racial/ethnic testing locations.

Results: Analysis determined associations existing among high-risk individuals based on demographics.
