A 35-year-old man presented to the emergency department with reports of chest pain, progressive shortness of breath, and pedal edema. He had a history of multiple hospital admissions without improvement. Multimodality imaging revealed a suspected giant right atrial myxoma.

This case highlights the need for thorough medical and neurological screening before making any psychiatric diagnosis, even if the patient has a classical syndromic presentation. Presented here is a case of a female in her late 40s coming to our psychiatric outpatient with symptoms suggestive of catatonia. She was treated at a private clinic for depression.

Green synthesis of chitosan nanoparticles using tea extract and its antimicrobial activity against economically important phytopathogens of rice.

The aim of the present work is to biosynthesize Chitosan nanoparticles (CTNp) using tea (Camellia sinensis) extract, with potent antimicrobial properties towards phytopathogens of rice. Preliminary chemical analysis of the extract showed that they contain carbohydrate as major compound and uronic acid indicating the nature of acidic polysaccharide. The structure of the isolated polysaccharide was analyzed through FTIR and H NMR.

Three polymers consist of donor-acceptor building block, where the electron-donating fluorinated benzodithiophene (BDTF) unit is linked to the electron-accepting 4-cyclopenta[]thiophene-4,6(5)-dione (IND) derivative via thiophene (T) or thieno [3,2-]thiopene (TT) bridges. The absorption range of the polymer donors based on IND in this study shows 400~800 nm, which complimenting the absorption of Y6BO (600~1000 nm).

MEDLINE and Embase were searched for articles published between January 2010 and March 2021. Studies evaluating the use of patient-facing digital tools in the context of genetic service delivery were included.

Background: The emerging new standard of care for metastatic clear cell renal carcinoma (mRCC) becomes a challenge when access to new drugs is limited. Vaccination process in Serbia began in January 2021 with four available vaccines. We have conducted a cross-sectional study investigating cancer patients' acceptability of anti SARS-COV2 vaccines.

Background: Self-compassion has been considered beneficial in overcoming negative self-assessment due to inadequate coping that increases vulnerability to significant distress among undergraduate students in emerging adulthood.

Background Hypothyroidism can be a cause of sinus bradycardia. However, thyroid laboratory evaluation is often performed routinely in patients with complete heart block (CHB) though there is little data to support this practice. This study aimed to assess the frequency of thyroid dysfunction in patients presenting with CHB without clinical features of hypothyroidism.

Mobile phone use among Indonesian motorcyclists: prevalence and influencing factors.

Objective: Indonesia is one of many developing countries that relies on motorcycles as a major mode of transportation. Unfortunately, the widespread use of motorcycles in Indonesia coincides with a high number of motorcycle accidents which can often be attributed to unsafe behaviors of the motorcyclist. One unsafe behavior that is common and hypothetically associated with accidents is the use of a mobile phone while motorcycling.

Diselenide Core Cross-Linked Micelles of Poly(Ethylene Oxide)--Poly(Glycidyl Methacrylate) Prepared through Alkyne-Azide Click Chemistry as a Near-Infrared Controlled Drug Delivery System.

In this article, a drug delivery system with a near-infrared (NIR) light-responsive feature was successfully prepared using a block copolymer poly(ethylene oxide)--poly(glycidyl methacrylate)-azide (PEO--PGMA-N) and a cross-linker containing a Se-Se bond through "click" chemistry. Doxorubicin (DOX) was loaded into the core-cross-linked (CCL) micelles of the block copolymer along with indocyanine green (ICG) as a generator of reactive oxygen species (ROS). During NIR light exposure, ROS were generated by ICG and attacked the Se-Se bond of the cross-linker, leading to de-crosslinking of the CCL micelles.

Headaches and their relationships to epileptic seizures.

Purpose: The frequent association between headache and epilepsy has been increasingly studied in recent years. Through this study, we attempted to study possible temporal associations between epileptic seizures and headaches. We also tried to describe clinical aspects of headache in our patients with epilepsy.

Benefit and outcome of using temozolomide-based chemoradiotherapy followed by temozolomide alone for glioblastoma in clinical practice.

Purpose: Temozolomide (TEM), an oral alkylating agent, has shown promising activity in the last 10 years in the treatment of glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). Our goal was to show the benefit of concomitant therapy involving 3D conformal radiotherapy and temozolomide in clinical practice.

Methods: This was a retrospective/prospective study and included a total of 113 patients with GBM diagnosis.

Modulatory effect of neoadjuvant chemotherapy on the prognosis of patients with breast cancer.

Purpose: To evaluate the changes in biological markers ER, PR, HER2 and Ki67 in residual tumor after surgery for locally advanced breast cancer (LABC), and also to evaluate the outcome of breast cancer patients treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC).

Methods: 144 breast cancer patients treated with NAC at the Oncology Institute of Vojvodina, Serbia from 2011 to 2015 were included in this study. Changes in biologic markers ER,PR, HER2/neu and Ki-67 were evaluated at diagnostic core biopsy and at the final surgery tissue specimens.

Rituximab in the therapy of stage III and IV follicular lymphoma: Results of the REFLECT 1 study of the Serbian Lymphoma Group.

Purpose: Follicular lymphoma (FL) is an indolent lymphoma that responds well to rituximab+chemotherapy. We evaluated the prognosis and efficacy of immunochemotherapy in patients with previously untreated, advanced FL.

Methods: REFLECT 1 is a multicentre, prospective study of 99 patients with previously untreated FL stage III-IV.
