An electro- and optically favorable quaternary nanocomposite film was produced by solution-casting nickel oxide nanoparticles (NiO NPs) into polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP), and poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) polystyrene sulfonate (PEDOT/PSS). Based on transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) observations, the synthesized NiO NPs have a cubic phase and a diameter between 10 and 45 nm. The complexity and interactions observed through XRD patterns, UV-visible spectra, and FTIR measurements suggest that the NPs are not just dispersed within the polymer matrix, but are interacting with it, leading to enhanced dielectric properties and AC electrical conductivity.

Atorvastatin (ATOR) acts on certain antitumor pathways; the consequences of chemotherapies continue to be a major concern, notwithstanding the increased efficacy provided by contemporary therapies. This study investigated the synergistic effects and underlying mechanisms of different treatment protocols using ATOR on the THP-1 cell line and on lung cancer in mice. This study successfully synthesized high-performance photodetectors based on Ag-WO3 core-shell heterostructures using a simple and economical two-step pulsed laser ablation in water method and has investigated the electrical characteristics of the Ag@WO3 nanocomposite heterojunction. The Hall effect tests indicate that the synthesized Ag@WO exhibits n-type conduction with a Hall mobility of 1.25 × 10 cmVS.

The anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive activities of plant secondary metabolites are due to their diverse mechanisms of action against multifarious molecular targets such as modulation of the complex immune system associated with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). This review discussed and critically analyzed the potent anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive effects of several phytochemicals and their underlying mechanisms in association with RA in experimental studies, including preliminary clinical studies of some of them. A wide range of phytochemicals including phenols, flavonoids, chalcones, xanthones, terpenoids, alkaloids, and glycosides have shown significant immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory activities in experimental RA models and a few have undergone clinical trials for their efficacy and safety in reducing RA symptoms and improve patient outcomes.

In this work, gallium nitride (GaN) thin film was deposited on porous silicon (PSi) substrate via a pulsed laser deposition route with a 355 nm laser wavelength, 900 mJ of laser energy, and various substrate temperatures raging from 200 to 400 °C. The structural and optical properties of GaN films as a function of substrate temperature are investigate. XRD studies reveal that the GaN films deposited on porous silicon are nanocrystalline with a hexagonal wurtzite structure along (002) plane.

Lithium niobite (LiNbO) nanostructure were successfully synthesized by chemical bath deposition method (CBD) and then decorated with silver nitrate (AgNO) through UV activation method at different immersion durations (5, 15, 25, 35, and 45 s). The silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) effects on the optical and structural properties were studied and analyzed using various scientific devices and technique. X-ray diffraction (XRD) results showed that all the samples have a hexagonal structure with a maximum diffraction peak at the (012), and the existence of silver atoms could be recognized at 2θ = 38.
