Background And Aims: In periodontics and other surgical disciplines, sutures play a detrimental role in healing of wound. The use of chemical adjuncts to boost healing has been experimented in recent years. The aim of this study was to evaluate the role of hyaluronic acid rinse in influencing the tensile strengths of commonly used sutures.

Aims And Objectives: The aims of this study were to evaluate the presence of and , in polyglycolic acid (PGA) 4-0 and silk sutures, with or without hyaluronic acid (HA) treatment.
Materials And Methods: This study measured and growth on PGA and silk sutures, through incubation in agar media for 24 h. The suture length was 10 cm and divided into three parts: A (8 h), B (16 h), and C (24 h), which were observed every 8 h, followed by suspension on a microscopic slide.

Aims: This study is the first of its kind in the United Arab Emirates, where these herbal plant extracts are commonly incorporated into toothpaste. The present study compares two herbal toothpastes (Meswak extract and tea tree oil [TTO]) and analyses their efficiency in reducing plaque accumulation.
Materials And Methods: A total of 25 patients were examined for plaque and assigned a plaque score.
