The effect of multiple doses of rifabutin (150 mg) on the pharmacokinetics of saquinavir-ritonavir (1,000 mg of saquinavir and 100 mg of ritonavir [1,000/100 mg]) twice daily (BID) was assessed in 25 healthy subjects. In most longitudinal clinical trials, some patients drop out before the end of the planned follow-up, and, in order to allow an all-patient intent-to-treat analysis to be performed, it is common practice to use some method of imputation to estimate values for missing data.
