Zygote transfer is a significant limiting factor in pregnancy rates after Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) treatment. Adequate technique appraisal should be a high priority task for any medical facility that offers this treatment. Although many clinicians have extensive personal experience, it is difficult for trainees to understand the anatomical and mechanical process of safe and adequate placing of zygotes in the uterine cavity.
