Background: High-risk pregnancies are accompanied by significant complications for the mother, fetus, and baby if not controlled and received timely care. During home antenatal care, high-risk pregnant women can receive non-medical interventions by a home visitor.

Objective: This study's main aim was to explore care providers' perspectives regarding the home care program for high-risk pregnancies.

Exploring the urgent need for an online reproductive health education program for infertile couples: A qualitative study.

Background: With the escalating utilization of online health education programs and the growing prevalence of infertility, there is an urgent requirement for a comprehensive and effective online platform that caters to the unique needs of couples facing infertility. This study aims to investigate and understand the needs and potential benefits of implementing an online reproductive health education program for infertile couples.

Context: In this study, we investigated the mechanical responses of molybdenum ditelluride (MoTe) using molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. Our key focus was on the tensile behavior of MoTe with trigonal prismatic phase (2H-MoTe) which was investigated under uniaxial tensile stress for both armchair and zigzag directions. Crack formation and propagation were examined to understand the fracture behavior of such material for varying temperatures.

Renal Denervation in the Management of Resistant Hypertension: A Comprehensive Review of Literature.

Resistant hypertension is a condition in which blood pressure remains elevated despite using 3 or more antihypertensive medications. Though contemporary antihypertensive drug therapies have been essential in treating hypertension, in recent years different studies have explored renal denervation (RDN) as an adjunctive or a replacement modality. Here we summarize an open-label, Symplicity HTN 2 trial and 7 randomized, sham-controlled clinical trials: Spyral-HTN OFF MEDS (Spyral Pivotal), Spyral-HTN ON MEDS, RADIANCE-HTN SOLO, RADIANCE-HTN TRIO, RADIANCE II, SYMPLICITY-HTN 1, and SYMPLICITY-HTN 3, which evaluated safety and efficacy of multiple renal denervation systems (RDN) at lowering blood pressure from baseline, and in comparison, to control group.

Background: The mental health and well-being of millions of people worldwide are negatively impacted by infertility. A promising solution to meet the needs of people suffering from infertility is e-health interventions, such as online counseling and support groups. This study aims to review the current literature on e-health interventions and how they impact people with infertility.

A supportive randomized clinical trial on Iranian infertile women with the history of infertility treatments dropout following unsuccessful ART cycle/s: A study protocol.

Introduction: Due to high dropout rate of infertility treatments and lack of any intervention for motivating infertile couples to continue treatments, the present study will be conducted with the aim of designing, implementing and determining the effectiveness of the proposed intervention in order to continue infertility treatments.

Methods: & Analysis: We will conduct this study in two stages; a review of literature and past studies will be done to identify interventions that have been performed for infertile couples, and then an appropriate intervention with the aim of continuing infertility treatments for infertile women will be designed. After that a Delphi study will be designed in accordance with collected information of previous stages and will be approved by experts In the second stage we will implement designed intervention of a randomized clinical trial on two groups of infertile women (control and intervention) with the history of infertility treatment dropout following unsuccessful cycle.

A comparison of Atrial Fibrillation Detection Strategies After Ischemic Stroke-A Retrospective Study.

Objective of this retrospective study was to determine if long-term continuous cardiac monitoring with Implantable loop recorder (ILR) in patients with Cryptogenic strokes or TIA is superior at detecting Atrial Fibrillation (AF) than 30-day Event Monitor (EM) and 48-hour Holter Monitor (HM). Furthermore, we aimed to deduce if uncovering AF leads to lower risk of future ischemic strokes, or reduction in mortality. In 20%-30% cases, the cause of stroke remained unexplained after diagnostic workup which has led to coining of the term, Cryptogenic Stroke (CS).

Reverse Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy After Casirivimab-Imdevimab Therapy in a Patient with COVID-19: A Case Report.

BACKGROUND Takotsubo cardiomyopathy, also referred to as apical ballooning syndrome (ABS), stress cardiomyopathy, or broken heart syndrome, initially described in Japan, is characterized by transient wall motion abnormalities involving the apical segment. Several variants have been described, including reverse type, mid-ventricular type, and the focal type. In the reverse type, there is basal hypokinesis and apical hyperkinesis.

A case series of perioperative anaphylaxis to cefazolin during kidney transplant and review of literature.

Background: Intraoperative anaphylaxis is a life threatening and multiorgan system hypersensitivity reaction that frequently leads to cessation of operations. Despite the incidence of Cefazolin allergy being on the rise, the cases of anaphylaxis to Cefazolin during surgeries and its management are seldom reported.

Case Presentation: We present two patients with no known beta-lactam allergy and end stage kidney disease who received perioperative intravenous Cefazolin for planned deceased kidney transplant surgery at our academic medical center.

A Case Series of Eustachian Valve Endocarditis: An Under-Diagnosed and Rare Entity.

BACKGROUND The eustachian valve is rarely involved in bacterial endocarditis. Patients who present with bacteremia and evidence of organic septic emboli should raise the suspicion of endocarditis as a possible differential diagnosis. This case series describes 2 unique cases of eustachian valve endocarditis (EVE) in patients who had a history of intravenous drug use; although 63% of EVE is caused by Staphylococcus aureus, the causative agent in our first case was methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus epidermidis (MRSE), which is only the third reported case of EVE caused by Staphylococcus epidermidis.

A systematic review and meta-analysis on dropout of infertility treatments and related reasons/factors.

Dropout of infertility treatments is a common phenomenon and many patients avoid continuing infertility treatments. Determining the total rate of treatment dropout, and related factors was the objective of the present systematic review and meta-analysis study. We performed an electronic literature search in Web of Science, Scopus, Embase, Cinhal, ProQuest and Medline databases and a manual search in Google scholar by using a set of Standard keywords.

Short Term Dual Antiplatelet Therapy After Percutaneous Coronary Intervention with Drug Eluting Stents: A Comprehensive Review of Literature.

Percutaneous coronary intervention with a drug eluting stent requires administration of dual anti platelet therapy (DAPT) to prevent thrombotic complications. Optimal duration of this therapy remains unclear especially for patients with high bleeding risk. Since the risk of stent thrombosis is highest immediately following stent implantation, longer term DAPT therapy may confer additional risk of harm rather than benefit for this subset of patients.

With a population of 165 million, Bangladesh is undergoing rapid industrialization and urban development, and is well on track to move out from the group of least developed countries by 2024. This results in a significant increase in the urban energy needs and the amount of generated waste. Most of the municipal solid waste in Bangladesh is currently deposited in landfills, thereby contaminating nearby cultivable soils.

Ammonium sorption and recovery processes typically take place in conventional packed columns, with a configuration that enables maximum sorption by the sorbents. However, batch or semi-continuous operations in packed columns have associated issues such as scaling and frequent backwashing requirements, which are economically prohibitive. As an alternative, ammonium sorption could occur in well-mixed continuously stirred tanks, which would allow for the ammonium sorption process to be retrofitted in existing wastewater treatment plants, provided that efficient sorbent separation can be achieved.

An audit of the cervical screening programme in the National Drug Treatment Centre (NDTC).

Background: Women diagnosed with substance use disorders (SUDs) have higher rates of major medical conditions compared to women without SUDs. Cervical cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in women aged 20-39 years worldwide and women with SUDs have an increased risk of cervical cancer compared to women without SUD. The National Drug Treatment Centre (NDTC) cervical screening programme, derived from the national CervicalCheck programme, offers free cervical screening to patients attending for treatment of SUDs.

The impact of primary sedimentation on the use of iron-rich drinking water sludge on the urban wastewater system.

The impact of primary sedimentation on the multiple use of iron in an urban wastewater system was investigated. Our previous work showed that in-sewer iron-rich drinking water sludge (DWS) dosing exhibited multiple benefits in the downstream processes. However, the system studied did not include a primary settler.

Effects of aging of ferric-based drinking water sludge on its reactivity for sulfide and phosphate removal.

Recent studies demonstrated the practical potential of multiple beneficial reuse of ferric-rich drinking water sludge (ferric DWS) for sulfide and phosphate removal in wastewater applications. In practice, ferric DWS is often stored on-site for periods ranging from days to several weeks (or even months), which may affect its reuse potential through changes in iron speciation and morphology. In this study, we investigated for the first time the impact of ferric DWS 'aging' time on the iron speciation and morphology and its subsequent impact on its reactivity and overall sulfide and phosphate removal capacity.

The necessity of education about reproductive health of female adolescents to mothers in Iran: a qualitative study.
