Introduction: Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) is a leading cause of infant mortality all over the world. Mortality due to SIDS can be averted by educating families and caretakers about safe practices for putting infants to sleep. However, the knowledge, attitude, and practices of mothers while putting the infant to sleep is a gray areas in literature.

Prevalence of influenza and pneumococcal vaccine uptake in Saudi type 2 diabetic individuals.

Introduction: Individuals with diabetes are at particularly at high risk for many of the negative health consequences associated with influenza and pneumococcal infections. This study aimed to determine the prevalence of influenza and pneumococcal vaccination among a population of type 2 diabetic patients in Saudi Arabia and to determine the factors associated with vaccine uptake.

Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted among patients with type 2 diabetes at Security Forces Hospital, Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.

Academic misconduct/dishonesty has become widespread behavior among many university students across the globe, and medical education is not an exception. Until recently, few efforts have been made to study the dishonest behavior in Middle-Eastern universities. This study examined the prevalence and predisposing factors of cheating among medical students in Saudi Arabia and suggests suitable preventive measures.
