A Large Pelvic Haematoma Caused by a Local Anaesthetic Flexible Cystoscopy Injection of Intradetrusor Botulinum Toxin A: A Case Report.

A 55-year-old female attended the Outpatient Urology Department for local anaesthetic flexible cystoscopy and intradetrusor botulinum toxin A injection. Having been diagnosed with urodynamics-proven low-grade detrusor overactivity in 2017, she was well-established on six-monthly Botox® injections. As part of her ongoing treatment, 100 units of Allergan Botox diluted with saline in a 10 mL syringe were injected via 20 punctures.

Evaluating the Clinical Impact of Ureteral Frozen Section Analysis During Radical Cystectomy: A Single-Center Retrospective Study.

Introduction The objective of this study is to find out if there are any differences in upper urinary tract recurrence and overall mortality between patients who underwent a frozen section analysis during radical cystectomy and those who did not. Materials and methods In an observational retrospective cohort study, we evaluated data from 164 patients who underwent radical cystectomy in our institution over a five-year period from 2013 to 2018. Fisher's exact test was applied to find any difference in upper urinary tract recurrence between the two groups.

Introduction Patients with localized high-risk urothelial carcinoma of the upper urinary tract are advised radical nephroureterectomy, the surgical removal of the kidney and ureter, utilizing robot-assisted versus laparoscopic methods. This study aims to compare the surgical and oncological results of robot-assisted and laparoscopic radical nephroureterectomy for upper-tract urothelial carcinoma. Methods An observational retrospective cohort study compared 14 patients who had robotic-assisted nephroureterctomy (RAN) to 16 patients who had laparoscopic assisted nephroureterctomy (LAN).

An Incidental Diagnosis of Extraosseous Ewing's Sarcoma in the Kidney.

Ewing's sarcoma is generally observed in the skeletal and connective tissues of paediatric individuals. The occurrence of extraosseous neuroectodermal tumours is uncommon. Renal Ewing's sarcoma usually presents with flank pain, haematuria, or as an abdominal mass.

A Rare Case of Acute Vasitis.

Inflammation of the vas deferens, or vasitis, is a rarely reported condition that can manifest as either acutely painful infectious vasitis or predominantly asymptomatic vasitis nodosa. Twin Neonates With Bart's Syndrome.

Bart's syndrome is a combination of the following three criteria: congenital skin absence, blistering, and associated nail defects. We present a rare case of twins with Bart's syndrome, who were born with congenital absence of skin and developed blisters on the skin and mucous membrane on the following days. Twins are identically affected, which confirms the genetic basis of the syndrome.
