Objective: To compare the changes in Retinal Nerve Fiber Layer (RNFL) thickness and Intraocular Pressure (IOP) after phacoemulsification in patients with glaucoma versus without glaucoma.
Methods: This was a quasi-experimental study, done at Lahore General Hospital, from January 2021 to December 2021. Patients with senile cataract were divided into two groups.
Aim: Evaluation of the status of uncontrolled hypertension in diagnosed hypertensives who had been advised drug treatment in the rural areas of 6 districts in Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) and also the risk factors associated with it.
Methods: The study was a cross-sectional observational study conducted between August 2020 to July 2021 in the form of health camps in six government health centres in 6 different rural districts. The camps were focussed on patients with hypertension, diabetes with or without heart disease.

- The objective of the study was to assess changes in the ganglion cell complex using optical coherence tomography (OCT) after patients received an intravitreal injection of bevacizumab (Avastin) for diabetic macular edema.
- Conducted as a quasi-experimental study at Lahore General Hospital from March 2017 to April 2018, patients were carefully selected to exclude those with other eye conditions affecting OCT measurements.
- Results showed a significant increase in ganglion cell complex thickness (p < 0.001) one month following the injection, indicating that bevacizumab administration has an impact on retinal measurements.
