High-risk gestational trophoblastic neoplasia encompasses patients with high volumes of disease or diffuse metastatic involvement who are unlikely to achieve remission with single-agent chemotherapy. Etoposide-based multi-drug regimens form the core of high-risk therapy. Second-line therapy includes platinum-based regimens.

Exploring the student's opinions of AM in teaching helps understand how agile can be utilized in higher education to positively improve learning ability, leadership, and teamwork. Hence, the study aimed to develop the agile scrum perception tool (ASPT) to evaluate the opinions on AM among nursing students.

The evolution and ubiquitous use of sensors allow cyclists to measure many metrics including power, heart rate, speed, cadence, and more in training and racing. In this paper we explore for the first time assignment of a subset of a team's cyclists to an upcoming race.

It helps to improve student engagement, the interaction between the students and teachers, higher-order thinking, teamwork, and practical skills. This study was done to assess the effectiveness of agile methodology on metacognitive ability and clinical performance among nursing students.

Methods: The study is an original type, with a cross-sectional design, where 109 schoolchildren of both sexes and mean age of 13 years were evaluated.
Background: This study aimed to identify the postural sway variables that can distinguish between ballet dancers with high and low occurrences of musculoskeletal injuries.
Methods: Fourteen professional ballet dancers were assigned to a high-occurrence group (N = 5, reports >2 injuries in the previous 6-months) or a low-occurrence group (N = 9, reports ≤1 injury). Center-of-pressure (COP) data were acquired using a force platform during the following tasks: single-leg stance with eyes open, single-leg stance with eyes closed, and demi-pointe stance with eyes open.
Recording technologies for rodents have seen huge advances in the last decade, allowing users to sample thousands of neurons simultaneously from multiple brain regions. This has prompted the need for digital tool kits to aid in curating anatomical data, however, existing tools either provide limited functionalities or require users to be proficient in coding to use them. To address this we created HERBS (Histological E-data Registration in rodent Brain Spaces), a comprehensive new tool for rodent users that offers a broad range of functionalities through a user-friendly graphical user interface.

MYPT1 isoforms have been described as products of the cassette-type alternative splicing of exons E13, E14, E22, and E24. Through in silico analysis of the publicly available EST and mRNA databases, we established that contains 32 exons (6 more than the 26 previously reported), of which 29 are used in 11 protein-coding transcripts.

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) patterns of WHO PPL in a tertiary health care facility in Southern India were explored to understand the local priority pathogens. Culture reports of laboratory specimens collected between 1st January 2014 and 31st October 2019 from paediatric patients were extracted.

Methods: quasi-experimental quantitative study conducted in a public university hospital located in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Convenience sampling included 28 adult patients hospitalized for HF or DM with the nursing diagnosis Ineffective Health Management (00078), who received the following nursing interventions: Teaching: Disease Process, Teaching: Prescribed Medication and Teaching: Prescribed Diet.

Perforating dermatoses are characterized by transepidermal elimination of altered dermal components or foreign particles. Owing to their common clinical presentation as umbilicated papules with a keratotic plug, histopathology and special staining play a very crucial role in the diagnosis. Perforating calcific elastosis, (periumbilical perforating pseudoxanthoma elasticum), an uncommon acquired localized cutaneous dermatoses, is characterized by transepidermal elimination of modified elastic fibres.

Objective: The aim of this study was to describe the characteristics of blood donors and the serological profile of the blood donations at the blood bank of the University Hospital Polydoro Ernani de São Thiago of the Federal University of Santa Catarina from January 2011 to December 2016.
Methods: The characteristics of donors and the serological results of the donated blood were compiled from databases. Only donations with a negative serology or a positive serology confirmed by second-sample testing were included in the study.
Introduction: In spite of having BCG vaccination and tuberculosis control program for the last 50 years, prevalence of tuberculosis continues to be high in India. Inadequate diagnostic methods, suboptimal treatment and monitoring, and the lack of vigilant reporting system are some of the contributing factors for the failure of TB control.
Objectives: To know the current practices among local pediatricians regarding management of TB.
Superradiance in an ensemble of atoms leads to the collective enhancement of radiation in a particular mode shared by the atoms in their spontaneous decay from an excited state. The quantum aspects of this phenomenon are highlighted when such collective enhancement is observed in the emission of a single quantum of light. Here we report a further step in exploring experimentally the nonclassical features of superradiance by implementing the process not only with single excitations, but also in a two-excitation state.

Case Characteristics: Case was a 14-year old girl who was on anti-tuberculous therapy (ATT) for 2 months without any improvement; sputum CBNAAT detected multi-drug resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB).
Introduction And Aims: Osteolytic bone metastases are observed in advanced cases of breast cancer. data suggest that the activity of the calcium-sensing receptor (CaSR) expressed by metastatic cells could potentiate their osteolytic potential. This study aimed to demonstrate the involvement of the CaSR in breast cancer cells osteolytic potential and to identify potential targets linked to CaSR activity.

Adopting a healthier lifestyle, involving diet and exercise, is one way of reducing this risk-but there are other, non-modifiable risk factors, such as family history, genetics and diagnosis of premalignant lesions. In this high-risk population, the tracking must be rigorous and involve the participation of the patient herself, earlier and more frequent clinical assessment, and the use of imaging screening.

The aim of the present study was to determine the effects of androgens in the regulation of human umbilical artery (HUA) contractility. The short-term effects of testosterone on the tone of the HUA were investigated, as were the long-term effects of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) on the expression of some proteins involved in the contractile process. Endothelium-denuded HUA were treated for 24 h with DHT (2 μmol/L) or the vehicle control (ethanol) to analyse the genomic effects of androgens.
