Purpose: Previous studies have suggested a link between serum progesterone levels on the day of the HCG trigger in IVF cycles and oocyte and embryo quality. This study aims to explore this relationship more thoroughly.

Methods: This study included 496 infertility patients at Moloud Infertility Treatment Center, Zahedan, Iran.

Mechanical and morphological properties of polypropylene/nano α-Al2O3 composites.

A nanocomposite containing polypropylene (PP) and nano α-Al2O3 particles was prepared using a Haake internal mixer. Mechanical tests, such as tensile and flexural tests, showed that mechanical properties of the composite were enhanced by addition of nano α-Al2O3 particles and dispersant agent to the polymer. Tensile strength was approximately ∼ 16% higher than pure PP by increasing the nano α-Al2O3 loading from 1 to 4 wt% into the PP matrix.

High-yield Synthesis of Multiwalled Carbon Nanotube by Mechanothermal Method.

This study reports on the mechanothermal synthesis of multiwalled carbon nanotube (MWCNTs) from elemental graphite powder. Initially, high ultra-active graphite powder can be obtained by mechanical milling under argon atmosphere. Finally, the mechanical activation product is heat-treated at 1350 degrees C for 2-4 h under argon gas flow.
