Women in rural Bangladesh encounter significant barriers to seeking mental healthcare, primarily due to stigmatization rooted in a lack of knowledge about mental health. To address this issue, community-based participatory research (CBPR) has been identified as a promising approach. CBPR involves the active collaboration of community members and stakeholders in the research process to tackle pressing community issues.

Finite energy Dirac points appear in the energy spectrum due to the application of the vector potential. These extra Dirac points are symmetric about = 0 plane for equal barrier and well widths.

The blood flow is formulated using the Casson fluid model under the control of a uniformly distributed magnetic field and an oscillating pressure gradient. Caputo-Fabrizio's fractional derivative mathematical model was used, along with Laplace transform and the finite Hankel transform technique.

The flow solution is magnetized using the perpendicular magnetic field. The resultant fluid flow is due to the oscillating boundary motion and buoyancy force.

However, the much lower reactivity of belite compared to alite limits the widespread use of belite cements. Therefore, this work presents a fundamental atomistic computational approach for comprehending and quantifying the mesoscopic forward dissolution rate of β-CS, applied to two reactive crystal facets of (100) and (1¯00).

NO emissions from paddy fields in South Korea are of high importance for their cumulative effect on climate. The objective of this study was to estimate the NO emissions and biogeochemical factors involved in NO emissions such as ammonium (NH) and nitrate (NO) using the DNDC model in the rice-growing regions of South Korea.

Thus, cements based on belite, an impure clinker mineral (CaO)SiO (CS in cement chemistry notation), which forms at lower temperatures, is a promising solution to develop eco-efficient and sustainable cement-based materials, used in enormous quantities. The slow reactivity of belite plays a critical role, but the dissolution mechanisms and kinetic rates at the atomistic scale are not known completely yet.

In this study, we use Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) information to investigate the effect of energy efficiency on the selling price of Swedish tenant-owned apartments. While there is a large body of literature on how energy efficiency affects the sales price of single-family houses, none has exclusively focused on tenant-owned apartments. For owners of tenant-owned apartments in Sweden, heating is for a large share included in the monthly fee paid to the tenant association, which usually does not change on a short-term basis.

Even in this era of combinatorial chemical drugs, phytomedicines account for a large share of the statistics of newly approved drugs. In the field of computational aided and rational drug design, there is an urgent need to develop and build a useful phytochemical database management system with a user-friendly interface that allows proper data storage, retrieval and management.

In the present work, an atomistic kinetic Monte Carlo (KMC) upscaling approach is implemented in MATLAB code in order to investigate the dissolution time and morphology changes of a hexagonal platelet portlandite crystal. First, the atomistic rate constants of individual Ca dissolution events are computed by a transition state theory equation based on inputs of the computed activation energies (Δ) obtained through the metadynamics computational method (Part 1 of paper).

This is demonstrated in the example of dissolution of portlandite, as a relatively simple benchmarking example for cementitious materials. Moreover, dissolution kinetics is also important for other industrial processes, e.

Because the development of new effective vaccines or treatments against the virus can take time, an urgent need exists for the rapid development and design of new drug candidates to combat this pathogen. Here, we obtained antiviral peptides obtained from the data repository of antimicrobial peptides (DRAMP) and screened their predicted tertiary structures for the ability to inhibit the main protease of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) using multiple combinatorial docking programs, including PatchDock, FireDock, and ClusPro.

Early hydration of tricalcium silicate (CS) has received great attention over the years due to the increased use of composite cement with a reduced number of clinker phases, especially the addition of what should be very reactive CS to guarantee early strength. Although many mechanisms have been proposed, the dissolution of polygonal CS at the material interface is not yet fully understood. Over the last decade, computational methods have been developed to describe the reaction in the cementitious system.
