This manuscript addresses a significant research gap in the study by employing a mathematical model of photo thermoelastic wave propagation in a rotator semiconductor medium under the effect of a magnetic field and initial stress, as well as ramp-type heating. The considered model is formulated during the photothermal theory and in two-dimensional (2D) electronic-elastic deformation. Background: Accurate volume status assessment and dry weight achievement are the most challenging goals for a nephrologist. We aimed to evaluate the role of ultrasonographic parameters including lung ultrasound and inferior vena cava (IVC) measurements as practical methods of volume status assessment in children on hemodialysis by comparing them with established techniques, such as clinical evaluation and bioimpedance spectroscopy.

In the present paper, the effects of magnetic field and heat transfer on the peristaltic flow of a Jeffery fluid through a porous medium in an asymmetric channel have been studied. The governing non-linear partial differential equations representing the flow model are transmuted into linear ones by employing the appropriate non-dimensional parameters under the assumption of long wavelength and low Reynolds number. Exact solutions are presented for the stream function, pressure gradient, and temperature.

Mitochondrial dysfunction has been reported in many Huntington's disease (HD) models; however, it is unclear how these defects occur. Here, we test the hypothesis that excess pathogenic huntingtin (HTT) impairs mitochondrial homeostasis, using genetics and pharmacological inhibitors in HD and polyQ-expansion disease models and in a mechanical stress-induced traumatic brain injury (TBI) model. Expression of pathogenic HTT caused fragmented mitochondria compared to normal HTT, but HTT did not co-localize with mitochondria under normal or pathogenic conditions.

A series of novel 3-phenyl-1-(alkylphenyl)-9-oxa-4-azaphenanthren-10-ones and (E)-1-phenyl-3-(aryl)prop-2-en-1-ones were synthesized and characterized by IR, H NMR, C spectroscopy and elemental analysis. The synthesized Compounds were subjected to molecular docking simulation with three proteins, namely, tyrosyl-tRNA synthetase, heme oxygenase 1 and acetylcholinesterase to evaluate the antibacterial, antioxidant and acetylcholinesterase inhibition, respectively. Moreover, the docked poses of all compounds inside the proteins were subjected to further dynamic simulation through the calculation of the binding free energy using MM-GBSA analysis.
