  • The study examined knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) about monkeypox (mpox) among undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students in Gujarat, India, involving 605 participants.
  • Results showed PG students had significantly higher knowledge (8.4 vs 6.5 out of 10), greater awareness (92.1% vs 78.1%), and more positive attitudes toward the seriousness of mpox and vaccination willingness.
  • The findings indicate a need for tailored educational programs to improve mpox preparedness, especially targeting UG students who demonstrated lower KAP levels.
