Purpose: This study was conducted to determine the effect of virtual reality goggles on the psychological well-being and care burden of informal caregivers of patients hospitalized in a palliative care clinic.

Methods: Pretest-posttest randomized controlled study. It was conducted from June-October 2023 with 44 informal caregivers (22 in the control, 22 in the intervention group).

Determination of Comfort Levels and Spiritual Care Needs of Gynecologic Cancer Patients with Abdominal Drains: A Cross-Sectional Descriptive Study in Turkey.

This study was conducted to determine the comfort levels and spiritual care needs of gynecologic cancer patients with abdominal drains. The study was conducted with 61 gynecologic cancer patients with abdominal drains at the gynecologic oncology surgery clinic of a state hospital in Turkey. Data were collected using the "Participant Information Form," "Perianesthesia Comfort Questionnaire (PCQ)", and "Spiritual Care Needs Inventory".

Turkish validity and reliability study of midwifery student evaluation of practice (MidSTEP) tool.

Background: In midwifery education, clinical learning environments have a significant impact on students' acquisition of clinical competence and professional self-identity. This qualitative study was conducted between December 2022 and January 2023 to examine the grief experiences of nurses who lost their first-degree relatives to COVID-19. In this study, 22 nurses working in hospitals in Turkey were selected through a snowball sampling process.

The relationship between moral distress, individual and professional values in oncology nurses: A structural equation study.

Objectives: This study examined the relationship between moral distress, individual and professional values in oncology nurses.

Methods: Employing structural equation modeling, a descriptive-correlational study was conducted among 116 oncology nurses. Data were collected using the Moral Distress Scale-Revised Adult Nurses, the Nursing Professional Values Scale, and the Values Scale.

The effects of Kinesio taping and breathing exercises on pain management after gynaecological abdominal surgery: A randomized controlled study.

Aim: This study aimed to evaluate the effects of Kinesio taping and breathing exercises on pain management after gynaecological abdominal surgery.

Methods: This randomized controlled study was conducted with 132 participants at a public hospital between June 2017 and 2018. The Kinesio taping method was applied once, immediately after the surgery during the hospital stay and breathing exercises were performed three times a day for 30 min on the first, second and third post-operative days.

Background: Measuring both the burden of symptoms and patient-reported palliative care needs is valuable to improve cancer care. Data representing the palliative care needs of cancer patients in Turkey remain limited.

The aim of this study was to determine the factors influencing the general quality of life and the quality-of-life subdimensions of family members caring for gynecological cancer patients. This descriptive study was conducted at a training and research hospital in Turkey. A total of 168 caregivers who were family members were included in the study sample.
