Total 275 subjects aged between 30 and 90 years were studied: 93 T2DM, 98 T2DM with proteinuria, and 84 as controls. Serum Se and Pb were analyzed by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer (ICP-OES) and other biochemical indices by ROCHE module COBAS 6000 analyzer.
