Aims: This study entails an association between bronchial asthma and common single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) gene; rs2289278, rs3806933, rs2289276, and rs1837253.
Methods: The databases of PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, and Google Scholar were searched for studies reporting TSLP polymorphisms and asthma from inception to January 2022. Hardy-Weinberg equilibriums (HWE) for each polymorphism of the control group were checked using the test.
Background: Sodium glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitors are recommended for the treatment of heart failure due to their cardioprotective effects, despite primarily being used as antidiabetic medications. However, the comparative profile of two antidiabetic drugs, sodium glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitors with dipeptidyl peptidase 4 inhibitor remains unclear.
Study Hypothesis: This study aims to compare the safety and efficacy profiles of sodium glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitors versus dipeptidyl peptidase 4 inhibitor drugs.
Lateral medullary syndrome, resulting from cerebellar/brainstem infarction, can occur due to cardioembolic stroke from atrial fibrillation caused by rheumatic heart disease. This rare association highlights the importance of strict arrhythmia management, prophylactic anticoagulation, and timely diagnosis to prevent debilitating neurological outcomes.

Acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM) is a disease of the central nervous system that cause inflammation and demyelination and manifests as a multi-symptom acute neurological condition. Although infections are usually the cause of ADEM, vaccines may cause 5-10% of cases.

Abstract: The aspirin and urticaria correlation has not been fully understood. The pharmacological inference is suspected to be the diversion of arachidonic acid metabolism.
Unlabelled: Following the recent surge in monkeypox cases worldwide, vaccines have gained popularity due to their protective role against the disease in the absence of specific pharmacological therapies for the disease. This article explores the possible challenges associated with the treatment and prevention of monkeypox with special emphasis on cardiovascular concerns relating to vaccines, warranting further investigation and research.
Methods: Multiple electronic databases from inception till October 2022 were searched to find articles reporting the cardiovascular adverse events associated with monkeypox immunization.
Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is an irreversible change in kidney function and structure with a prevalence of about 9.1% worldwide. Toxins and heavy metal exposure, as well as hypertension and diabetes mellitus, are common causes of CKD.

Furthermore, the relevance of considering cardiovascular outcomes in post-COVID-19 syndrome is important in the current COVID-19 pandemic; (2) Methods: The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines were followed for this systematic review and meta-analysis. Systematic searches were conducted from multiple databases without language restrictions until October 8, 2022, to find studies evaluating cardiovascular outcomes such as arrhythmias, myocardium and pericardium diseases, coronary vessel disease, and thromboembolic disorders in post-COVID cases.

Objective: This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to find the association between serum Krebs von den Lungen-6 (KL-6) and the severity of Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infection.
Data Sources: Databases of Embase, PubMed, Web of Science, Science Direct, and Google Scholar were searched for studies reporting KL-6 levels in COVID-19 patients, published between January 2020 and September 30 2022.
Data Synthesis: For comparison between the groups, standard mean difference (SMD) and 95% confidence intervals (CI) were computed as the effect sizes.
Background: This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to assess the association of hypernatremia with the outcomes of COVID-19 patients.
Methods: We performed a systematic literature search on PubMed, Google Scholar, and Science Direct until October 2021 and found a total of 131 papers. With meticulous screening finally, 17 papers met the inclusion criteria.
