Exploring the disability experiences of South Asian Women living with HIV in Southern Ontario, Canada.

Purpose: Given the steady rise in HIV incidence among South Asian women in Canada their health-related challenges and disability are not well understood. Our aim was to understand the "lived experiences" of disability among South Asian women living with HIV in Southern Ontario, Canada.

Methods: We conducted a qualitative study using an interpretive phenomenological approach.

To explore the cross-cultural applicability of the Episodic Disability Framework with people living with HIV in Ireland. We conducted a qualitative descriptive study using semi-structured interviews. We recruited adults with HIV from a hospital clinic and community-based organization in Dublin, Ireland.

The International Classification of Diseases-10th Revision (ICD-10) is a classification system to classify health conditions as specific disease or disorders.
