Background: Optimal screening for BCVI in pediatric trauma patients remains debated. We hypothesized screening with CTAN would decrease the number of duplicate CT scans per patient and increase BCVI detection rate.

Methods: Local BCVI screening institutional protocol changed May 2022 to include Computed Tomography angiography neck (CTAN).

Soil structural degradation and water erosion processes were observed even in no-tillage schemes in the Pampas region. Within these conservation systems, agrochemical application per hectare is one of the highest globally. Thus, this entails a serious risk of water contamination.

Problem/condition: Dengue is the most prevalent mosquitoborne viral illness worldwide and is endemic in Puerto Rico. Dengue's clinical spectrum can range from mild, undifferentiated febrile illness to hemorrhagic manifestations, shock, multiorgan failure, and death in severe cases. The disease presentation is nonspecific; therefore, various other illnesses (e.

Background: Fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASDs) are characterized by a wide range of physical, cognitive, and behavioral impairments that occur throughout the lifespan. Prenatal alcohol exposure (PAE) can lead to adult impairments in cognitive control behaviors mediated by the posterior parietal cortex (PPC). The PPC plays a fundamental role in the performance of response tasks in both primates and rodents, specifically when choices between similar target and nontarget stimuli are required.

Enantiopure -stereogenic methylphosphane-boranes ()-P(BH)PhArMe (; Ar = 1-naphthyl (NpMe), and 2-biphenylyl (BiphMe)) have been used to prepare diphosphanes of the type ArPhPCHPR (R = Ph, iPr or Bu; ). The ligands have been reacted with [Rh(COD)]BF to furnish the corresponding six monochelated [Rh(COD)()]BF organometallic compounds (RhArR) or, depending on the reaction conditions, the bis(chelated) coordination compound [Rh()]BF as a mixture of and isomers. The crystal structure of -[Rh()]BF was obtained.

Membrane dialysis is studied as a promising technique for partial dealcoholization of white wines. The performance of three membrane processes applied for the partial dealcoholization of white wines of the Verdejo variety has been studied in the present work. Combination of Nanofiltration with Pervaporation, single step Pervaporation and, finally, Dialysis, have been applied to white wines from same variety and different vintages.

[reaction: se text] A new Heck-type reaction under catalysis by Pd for obtaining polysubstituted arylvinylydene derivatives of porphyrin systems is reported. The coupling between the Zn(II)-protoporphyrin-IX dimethylester Zn-2 and several bromo-aryl and iodo-aryl compounds in the presence of a new Pd catalyst has been studied. This coupling reaction, although providing moderate regioselectivity, gives quantitative conversion.
