The diversity of Central Asians has been shaped by multiple migrations and cultural diffusion. Although ancient DNA studies have revealed the demographic changes of the Central Asian since the Bronze Age, the contribution of the ancient populations to the modern Central Asian remains opaque. Herein, we performed high-coverage sequencing of 131 whole genomes of Indo-European-speaking Tajik and Turkic-speaking Kyrgyz populations to explore their genomic diversity and admixture history.

The South American tomato pinworm, (Meyrick) (Lepidoptera: Gelechiidae), a destructive pest on tomato, has invaded most Afro-Eurasian countries. Recently invaded by the pest, most tomato crops in greenhouses and open fields in Tajikistan are currently suffering major damage. While failure in management using chemical insecticide has been frequently observed, alternative options such as biological control is urgently needed.

The involvement of chromosome changes in the initial steps of speciation is controversial. Here we examine diversification trends within the mole voles , a group of subterranean rodents. The first description of their chromosome variability was published almost 40 years ago.

Evolutionary history and taxonomic position for cryptic species may be clarified by using molecular and cytogenetic methods. The subterranean rodent, the Alay mole vole Vorontsov et al., 1969 is one of three sibling species constituting the subgenus Ellobius Fischer, 1814, all of which lost the Y chromosome and obtained isomorphic XX sex chromosomes in both males and females.

HCT rates are one of the important parameters defining developmental stage of a given country. There is a steady increase in HCT activity on both sides of Atlantic. But in certain parts of the world, HCT activities have yet to begin.

Background: The existence of zones of humoral skin-subskin tissue linkage with internal organs as well as the possibility of targeted administration of preparation into the affected organs were studied.

Methods: An experimental study of preparation and distribution in the bodies of mice was held by both intravenous and lymphotropic methods of administration. By means of detection with a photosensitizer (as a marker), the study was conducted on healthy mice and mice with testicle inflammation.

The asymmetric unit of the title solvate, C21H22N2O2·CH3OH, contains one methanol solvent mol-ecule and one mol-ecule of the heterocycle that is built up by the fusion of four six-membered rings A, C, D, E and one five-membered ring B. The indole moiety (rings A and B) is essentially planar, with an r.m.

The asymmetric unit of the title hydrated salt, C24H35N2O5 (+)·Cl(-)·2H2O, contains one organic cation that has its protonation site at the amine function, one chloride anion and two lattice water mol-ecules. In the crystal, one pair of lattice water mol-ecules and two chloride anions form a four-membered centrosymmetric hydrogen-bond cycle. In addition, O-H⋯O, N-H⋯O and N-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds involving the N-H groups, the water mol-ecules and the C=O group are observed.

Objective: Non-psychological parameters may predict pump success.

Methods: Review was performed on 35 implants for gender, age, pretrial/trial dose, baseline visual analog scale (VAS), and pain location. One-year outcomes were % change VAS/intrathecal dose and medication change.

A series of case reports acknowledges the efficacy of dexmedetomidine as a sole sedative for awake intubations in managing a critical airway. However, most case reports documented in the literature used topicalization of the oropharynx either via nebulized lidocaine or the spray-as-you-go technique with either 2% or 4% lidocaine spray to achieve successful intubation. The following case report presents an intensive care unit (ICU) patient with a critical airway who had a true documented allergy to local anesthetics.

Analysis of a new karyological material of mole voles Ellobius tancrei from a zone of high chromosome variation (Pamiro-Alai) in comparison with the data obtained 25 years ago showed a slight shift of the chromosome numbers on the western border of the Robertsonian fan due to the expansion of the area of forms with a low chromosome number. In the central part of the fan zone, the process of active hybridization of forms with different chromosome numbers, but not of the original forms, is still going on. Some problems of speciation on the basis of Robertsonian translocations are discussed.

There are different changes in psychophysiologic behavior of the students with different adaptation grade to examination stress. Examination stress in the students with a low adaptation grade resulted in increase of response against a background of reduction of attention. The lowest changes in the indications studied have been observed in a group of students with an average adaptation degree.

The peculiarities of morphological signs of cardiomyocyte death in the lesion focus in experimental myocardial infarction were studied. Infarction was induced by ligation of descending branch of the left heart coronary artery in outbred rats with 180-200 g body mass, which were previously subdivided into highly emotional (HE) and low emotional (LE) groups according to "open field" test. Microscopic study has shown that in the infarction focus of animals of both HE and LE groups cardiomyocyte death types were found that differed primarily by the state of myofibrils.

Electron microscopy of cardiomyocytes was performed on days 1, 3, and 7 after ligation of the coronary artery in rats previously divided according to liver metabolizing capacities into slowly and rapidly metabolizing animals. In rapidly metabolizing rats cardiomyocyte sarcoplasm contained large number of hyperplastic ribosomes and polysomes at the late stages of experiment, which attested to high activity of protein and RNA synthesis compared to slowly metabolizing rats. In slowly metabolizing animals edema of cardiomyocyte sarcoplasm and mitochondria was usually seen.

We studied morphological changes in the myocardium during experimental myocardial infarction in rats with different resistance to hypoxia. Microscopic examination showed that morphological changes in the ischemic zone and adjacent tissues are different in rats with high and low resistance to acute ischemia. In highly resistant rats, necrotic changes in cardiomyocytes included focal contracture and loosening.

Extracorporal inclusion of the porcine spleen was used in 180 patients with burns of the III A-B-IV degrees with the square area of burns from 25% to 95% of the body surface. The age of the patients was from 1 to 60 years. Critical trauma was diagnosed in 48 patients, supercritical--in 132 patients.
