Objectives: To determine the prevalence of self-reported delayed adverse events (DAEs), major AEs, and flares following COVID-19 vaccinations among patients with autoimmune rheumatic diseases (AIRDs) in Malaysia.

Methodology: An electronically validated survey from the COVID-19 vaccination in autoimmune diseases (COVAD) study group was distributed in July 2021 to patients with autoimmune diseases and healthy controls (HCs). The survey collected data on DAEs (any AE that persisted or occurred after 7 days of vaccination), any early or delayed major adverse events (MAEs), and flares following COVID-19 vaccination.

Children's knowledge of food allergy and risk prevention, coined as food allergy literacy (FAL), can bolster their safety in schools. Addressing research gaps on this topic, especially, parents' role, the aim of this study was to investigate Australian parents' practices, feelings, and support needs relating to building children's FAL before their transition to school. Questionnaire data from 159 parents were analysed statistically to characterise the sample and explore the association between children's FAL, parent anxiety, and parent confidence in their child's ability to stay safe at school.

This study investigates a series of newly synthesized compounds, including pyridopyrimidine derivatives (9a-g), tricyclic pyridotriazolopyrimidine analogs (18a-d), and dihydropyrimidinones (22a-i), as apoptotic inducers and inhibitors of phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase α (PI3Kα), with potential anticancer activity. An initial in vitro screening of 60 cancer cell lines identified pyridopyrimidine derivatives 9a-g as promising broad-spectrum anticancer agents, with compound 9e demonstrating the strongest inhibitory activity, particularly against T-47D breast cancer cells. Notably, the antitumor potency of compound 9e surpassed that of Pictilisib, inducing G2-M phase cell cycle arrest and initiating apoptosis through the intrinsic apoptotic pathway.
