Article Synopsis
  • The study aimed to compare the effectiveness of minimally invasive dynamic hip screw (MIDHS) fixation versus conventional dynamic hip screw (CDHS) fixation in treating intertrochanteric femoral fractures.
  • It involved 66 participants, with one group receiving MIDHS and the other CDHS, measuring outcomes like wound size, blood loss, pain levels, and healing time.
  • Results showed that MIDHS significantly reduced wound size, blood loss, pain, and recovery time, while maintaining equal outcomes in fracture alignment and healing compared to CDHS.
