Purpose: Alternative and affordable tick control strategies are crucial to control and prevent tick bites and tick-borne diseases.
Methods: In this study, we evaluated the acaricidal efficacy of 35 aqueous plant extracts (17%) against the camel tick, Hyalomma dromedarii.
Results: The phytochemical profile indicated the presence of various secondary substances.

The blow fly, (Meigen) (Diptera: Culicidae) is a primary facultative ectoparasite controlled by insecticides that have environmental and safety concerns; therefore, its natural and safe control is crucial. eggs were subjected to 400 μL of 5% of 24 materials of plant-borne origin. The number of hatched and unhatched eggs were counted 24 h postexposure.

Brucellosis is one of the most common contagious zoonotic diseases with significant impacts on livestock health, reproduction, production, and public health worldwide. Therefore, our objective was to determine the seroprevalence and compare the logistic regression and Classification and Regression Tree (CART) data-mining analysis to assess risk factors associated with Brucella infection in the densest cattle populated Egyptian governorates.

Our objective in this study, therefore, was to determine the seroprevalence and to identify the risk factors associated with WNV infection in the most densely horse-populated governorates in Egypt. A cross-sectional study was conducted in 2018 on 930 horses, which were distributed over five governorates in the Nile delta of Egypt.

Our objective was therefore to determine the seroprevalence and identify the risk factors associated with CCPP using CART data mining modeling in the most densely sheep- and goat-populated governorates. A cross-sectional study was conducted on 620 animals (390 sheep, 230 goats) distributed over four governorates in the Nile Delta of Egypt in 2019.

Identification of the risk factors associated with Enzootic bovine leukosis (EBL) is essential for the adoption of potentially prevention strategies. Accordingly, our objectives were to determine the geographic distribution of Bovine Leukemia Virus (BLV) infection and identify the risk factors associated with cow-level BLV infection in the Egyptian dairy cattle. A cross-sectional study was conducted on 1299 mixed breed cows distributed over four provinces in the Nile Delta of Egypt in 2018.

Hypothesis: Low-cost portable Na, K, Ca, and EC meters are clinically useful cow-side tests for diagnosing SCM and IMI.
Animals: One hundred fifteen dairy cows at dry off and 92 cows within 4-7 days postcalving.
Background: Chemotherapy has become one of the methods that are being adopted to treat cancer. Coumarins, thiazoles and thiadiazoles are versatile synthetic scaffolds possessing wide spectrum of biological effects including potential anticancer activity.
Objective: In the efforts to develop suitable anticancer drugs, medicinal chemists have focused on coumarin derivatives.
