Evaluating the Current Practice of Post Cesarean Thromboprophylaxis and Enhancing Guideline Adherence in Al-Najaf Hospitals.

Background: Venous thromboembolism (VTE) is one of the most common cardiovascular disorders in the United States and is manifested as deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE) which represented as the most important cause of death in pregnant women after cesarean section. Venous thromboembolism (VTE) is representing the second direct cause of death which is accounting for 13.8% of all mother's death in the world.
