In this research, for the first time, uricase gene was cloned in pPink-UOX plasmid under strong alcohol oxidase promoter of expression system after codon optimization. After selecting the best uricase producing clone with an activity of 0.7 U/ml at the Flask level, a 5-L fermenter was used to increase the expression of the enzyme.

As a result of smallpox immunization programs that ended more than 40 years ago, a significant portion of the world's population is not immune. ookinetes use an invasive apparatus to invade mosquito midguts, and tubulins are the major structural proteins of this apical complex. We examined the role of tubulins in malaria transmission to mosquitoes. Our results demonstrate that the rabbit polyclonal antibodies (pAb) against human α-tubulin significantly reduced the number of oocysts in midguts, while rabbit pAb against human β-tubulin did not.
