Background: Despite the importance of rehabilitation nursing care in improving patient outcomes, the provision of this care in the early stages of diseases and injuries is limited. In this situation, analyzing the concept of rehabilitation nursing care can increase nurses' understanding of this concept and improve the provision of rehabilitation nursing care in the acute phase. This study aimed to analyze the concept of rehabilitation nursing care in acute phase of diseases with physical disability.

Barriers and facilitators of rehabilitation nursing care for patients with disability in the rehabilitation hospital: A qualitative study.

Nurses play a key role in providing rehabilitation care. In this regard, identifying the factors that affect their practice can be useful in planning to improve the quality of rehabilitation nursing care. This study aims to explore the experience of nurses and members of the rehabilitation team about barriers and facilitators of rehabilitation nursing care of patients with disability in the rehabilitation hospital.

Factors Influencing the Decision-making of Healthcare Providers Regarding the Transition of Patients from the Intensive Care Unit to the General Ward in Iran: A Qualitative Study.

Background: The process of making decisions to discharge patients from the intensive care unit (ICU) is very complex and risky, and decisions need to be made under time constraints and based on fair allocation of resources. In this situation, decision-making requires team participation, which is often accompanied by tension and conflict between team members and sometimes family members, which in turn affects patient safety and quality of care.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to explore the experiences and perceptions of physicians and nurses regarding the decision-making process in transition of patients from the ICU to the general ward.

Family and Rehabilitation of Children with Cochlear Implant: A Qualitative Study.

Aim: This study was conducted to explain the role of families in rehabilitating children with cochlear implants based on the participants' experiences and perceptions.

Method: This research is a qualitative study based on the method of contract content analysis, and it is conducted with semi-structured interviews to collect information in Iran in 2018-2019. The interview was conducted with 12 participants, including caregivers (child caregivers with a cochlear implant), and the process of data collection continued until saturation.

Essential dimensions of professional competency examination in Iran from academic and clinical nurses' perspective: A mixed-method study.

Background: Planning for the issuance of professional competency examination has been put on the agenda of professional policymakers, but the ways of evaluating and conducting examinations and its dimensions are the main challenges. Recovery of children does not appear on its own after cochlear implantation. Coherent, thoughtful, and comprehensive rehabilitation is needed to achieve complete success. The purpose of this study was to identify the types of rehabilitation interventions for children with cochlear implants that have been performed in Iran.

Respecting the privacy of hospitalized patients: An integrative review.

Background: Privacy is a complicated and obscure concept, which has special meanings in the healthcare environment; therefore, it is essential for healthcare providers to fully understand this concept. However, there is no universally accepted definition for this concept in the texts, and it has been interpreted differently, based on its application.

Aim: To analyze and provide a clear and scientific definition for respect of privacy of hospitalized patients and identify the common aspects of this concept.

Religion as an Alleviating Factor in Iranian Cancer Patients: a Qualitative Study.

After diagnosis of cancer, many patients show more inclination towards religion and religious activities. This qualitative study using semi-structured interviews explored the perspectives and experiences of 17 Iranian cancer patients and their families regarding the role of religion in their adaptation to cancer in one of the hospitals in Tehran and a charity institute. The content analysis identified two themes: "religious beliefs "(illness as God's will, being cured by God's will, belief in God's supportiveness, having faith in God as a relieving factor, and hope in divine healing) and "relationship with God during the illness.

The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the potential beneficial effects of acupressure on a group of institutionalized elders experiencing sleep disturbances.

Method: A randomized controlled clinical trial was conducted to test the effectiveness of acupressure on quality of sleep of elderly residing in a Nursing home.
