  • Dentinal hypersensitivity is a common issue for patients getting crown and bridge restorations, and desensitizing laser treatment has proven effective in addressing this problem.
  • A study involved 48 maxillary first premolars, comparing untreated control specimens to those treated with a specific laser, examining the bond strength of two types of luting cements.
  • Results indicated that self-adhesive resin cements had a slight increase in bond strength when used on laser-treated teeth, suggesting they are preferable for these cases, even though the increase was not statistically significant.
