Telehealth emerged as a key option for the provision of sexual and reproductive health (SRH) care and promotion during COVID-19 pandemic restrictions. However, there is limited research on the perspectives and experiences of healthcare providers (HCPs) in the Western-Central region of New York State. This qualitative interpretive study explored the perspectives and experiences of the HCPs' with telehealth for SRH promotion and care including counselling, testing and treatment for HIV infection and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs), in Western New York State.

Cardiovascular and Respiratory Effects of Cannabis Use by Route of Administration: A Systematic Review.

Knowledge of the cardiovascular and respiratory effects of cannabis use by route of administration is unclear. This evidence is necessary to increase clinical and public health awareness given the recent trend in cannabis legalization, normalization, and surge in the availability and usage of various forms of cannabis products. Search was conducted in Web of Science, ProQuest, Psych INFO, Scopus, Embase, and Medline databases, and subsequently in the references of retrieved articles.

Associations between Home- and School-Based Violent Experiences and the Development of Sexual Behavior in Young Adolescent Girls in the Rural Southern Region of Malawi.

Studies show that adolescent girls who experience violence grow up with fear and develop survival mechanisms that increase their susceptibility to sexually transmitted infections including HIV. However, the relationship between violence and the development of sexual behavior in young adolescent girls is under-investigated. We examined the Malawi Schooling and Adolescent Study data to explore the associations between home- and school-based violence and sexual behaviors in 416 young adolescent girls in rural Southern Malawi.
