Introduction: Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis is a neurodegenerative disease with wide variation of genetics associated with it. Among the different genes described, mutation in TFG is a rare finding in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
Case Presentation: A 35 years old right-handed male presenting with ipsilateral weakness was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
Purpose: To study the relationship of size of corpus callosum with white matter changes in the elderly population.
Materials And Methods: This was a retrospective analytical cross-sectional study. The relationship between the corpus callosum and white matter changes was studied using the magnetic resonance imaging technique, where white matter changes were graded based on Fazekas grading.
Background: The burden of non-communicable diseases like diabetes and hypertension is increasing worldwide including low-and middle-income countries. Good knowledge of such diseases among young people will make them adopt a healthy lifestyle from an early age, which will, in turn, prevent them from developing such non-communicable diseases. This study aimed to assess the knowledge, attitude, and practice of rural and urban school students regarding diabetes and hypertension.
