- Tenascin-C, a glycoprotein linked to RA, was studied for its diagnostic potential; researchers measured its levels in 60 RA patients (30 seropositive and 30 seronegative) and 30 healthy controls.
- Results showed that Tenascin-C levels were significantly higher in RA patients compared to controls, showing a high sensitivity (96.6%) and specificity (100%), suggesting it could be a valuable addition to current diagnostic methods for RA.
