Gastrointestinal symptoms are common findings in children with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 infection, including vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, and difficulty in feeding, although these symptoms tend to be mild. The hepato-biliary system and the pancreas may also be involved, usually with a mild elevation of transaminases and, rarely, pancreatitis. Background: To assess the overall prevalence of clinical signs, symptoms, and radiological findings in children and/or adolescents with COVID-19.
Methods: We systematically researched in PubMed, Scopus and Web of Science databases observational studies describing COVID-19 in children and/or adolescents until April 11, 2020. Data regarding clinical and radiological features were extracted from eligible studies and meta-analysis was performed using random-effects modeling.

Structural identifiability analysis addresses the theoretical question whether the inverse problem of recovering the unknown parameters from noise-free data is uniquely solvable (global), or if there is a finite (local), or an infinite number (non identifiable) of parameter values that generate identical input/output trajectories. In contrast, practical identifiability analysis aims to assess whether the experimental data provide information on the parameter estimates in terms of precision and accuracy.

We here show adequate species identification for bacterial isolates of the genus Nocardia spp. through VITEK mass spectrometry.
