Background & Aims: Safety data for patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) treated with atezolizumab-bevacizumab in the real-world setting remain uncertain. Thus, the aim of this study was to evaluate the incidence of adverse events (AEs) in patients with HCC treated with atezolizumab-bevacizumab in the literature.
Methods: In this systematic review and meta-analysis, we searched PubMed for original studies reporting percentages of AEs in patients with HCC receiving atezolizumab-bevacizumab between 2020 to 2023, using the search terms "Atezolizumab/Bevacizumab", "HCC" and "Adverse events".
Objective: Circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) is a promising non-invasive biomarker in cancer. We aim to assess the dynamic of ctDNA in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
Design: We analysed 772 plasmas from 173 patients with HCC collected at the time of diagnosis or treatment (n=502), 24 hours after locoregional treatment (n=154) and during follow-up (n=116).

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the third most common cause of cancer-related death and occurs mainly in the context of chronic liver disease at cirrhosis stage. The Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer classification, first established in 1999, is the most commonly used staging system for HCC in Western countries that link tumor burden, liver function and performance status with prognosis and therapeutic management. Since the first publication of this classification, it has been implemented in several clinical guidelines and recent major therapeutic advances in the management of HCC have modified the therapeutic landscape of HCC.

Carriers of germline telomerase-related gene (TRG) mutations can show poor prognosis, with an increase in common hematological complications after lung transplantation (LT) for pulmonary fibrosis.
