Association between Adiposity and Iron Status in Women of Reproductive Age: Data from the UK National Diet and Nutrition Survey (NDNS) 2008-2019.

Background: Overweight/obesity and iron deficiency (ID) are highly prevalent in women of reproductive age (WRA), impacting on women's health. Obesity is a risk factor for nutritional deficiencies but its association with ID is unclear.

Objectives: To determine the association between adiposity and markers of iron status and ID prevalence in WRA.

Perinatal outcomes of two consecutive strategies for the management of fetal growth restriction: a before-after study.

Purpose: We aim to compare the perinatal outcomes of two consecutive management strategies for fetal growth restriction (FGR), with or without the inclusion of additional Doppler parameters.

Methods: A quasi-experimental before/after study was conducted in which we compared a composite perinatal outcome, prematurity rate, and neonatal complications between two management strategies in small fetuses. In the strategy 1 (S1), the management was based on fetal biometry and umbilical artery Doppler.
