Objectives: Peritoneal cancer index (PCI) score is a common prognostication tool in peritoneal metastases (PM). We hypothesize that the distribution of PCI score and involvement of specific regions affects survival and morbidity outcomes.
Methods: Data was collected from a prospective database of patients who underwent CRS and HIPEC for PM at the National Cancer Centre Singapore.

Aortic graft infection is a rare complication after endovascular aneurysm repair that is usually caused by gram-positive organisms such as spp or gram-negative organisms such as or spp. We have presented a unique case of a patient with acute graft infection secondary to Because treatment of infections is challenging owing to its inherent resistance to multiple antibiotics, we have proposed an approach for managing similar cases in the future. Lifestyle advice on avoiding soil exposure in the postoperative period after endovascular aneurysm repair might be an important preventative measure in endemic regions.

As acute appendicitis is one of the most common acute surgical conditions, we aim to compare outcomes of patients with appendicitis in the ESAT model as compared to the traditional on-call model.
Methods: A retrospective review of patients admitted to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Singapore, with acute appendicitis between two periods: May-October 2014 (6 months pre-ESAT) versus January-June 2017 (post-ESAT).
Medical volunteerism continues to attract many doctors from high-income nations to low- or middle-income countries (LMIC). In spite of the wealth of positive experiences of these volunteers documented in the literature, there is little evidence concerning the impact and effectiveness of their activity. We documented our model of five-year experience in the delivery of hand surgery in Cambodia, attempting a qualitative approach with attempts to understand the perceptions of local and volunteer surgeons.
