Introduction: Children and youth who are uninsured or underinsured in Canada and the USA have limited options where they can receive healthcare. In both countries, community health centres (CHCs) have been established as a solution to provide quality care to children without adequate insurance, including those who are newcomers or refugees. However, little is known about how well these models deliver paediatric care.

Effect of plant milk consumption on childhood growth: protocol for a systematic review.

Introduction: There has been considerable debate about whether plant milks can support the nutritional requirements of growing children. The proposed systematic review aims to assess the evidence on the relationship between plant milk consumption and growth and nutritional status in childhood.

Methods And Analysis: Ovid MEDLINE ALL (1946-present), Ovid EMBASE Classic (1947-present), CINAHL Complete (Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature), Scopus, the Cochrane Library and grey literature will be searched comprehensively (from 2000 to present; English language) to find studies that describe the association between plant milk consumption and growth or nutrition in children 1-18 years of age.

Primary care provider interventions for addressing cancer screening participation with marginalised patients: a scoping review protocol.

Introduction: Cancer screening is an integral component of primary care, and providers can play a key role in facilitating screening. While much work has focused on patient interventions, there has been less attention on primary care provider (PCP) interventions. In addition, marginalised patients experience disparities in cancer screening which are likely to worsen if not addressed.

Academic Productivity of Equity-Deserving Physician Scholars During COVID-19: A Scoping Review.

Purpose: The COVID-19 pandemic presented new barriers and exacerbated existing inequities for physician scholars. While COVID-19's impact on academic productivity among women has received attention, the pandemic may have posed additional challenges for scholars from a wider range of equity-deserving groups, including those who hold multiple equity-deserving identities. To examine this concern, the authors conducted a scoping review of the literature through an intersectionality lens.

Guidelines for Reporting Trial Protocols and Completed Trials Modified Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and Other Extenuating Circumstances: The CONSERVE 2021 Statement.

Importance: Extenuating circumstances can trigger unplanned changes to randomized trials and introduce methodological, ethical, feasibility, and analytical challenges that can potentially compromise the validity of findings. Numerous randomized trials have required changes in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, but guidance for reporting such modifications is incomplete.

Objective: As a joint extension for the CONSORT and SPIRIT reporting guidelines, CONSERVE (CONSORT and SPIRIT Extension for RCTs Revised in Extenuating Circumstances) aims to improve reporting of trial protocols and completed trials that undergo important modifications in response to extenuating circumstances.
