Adenocarcinoma of the small bowel arising from a previous strictureplasty for Crohn's disease: report of a case.

Small-bowel adenocarcinoma is an uncommon tumor, comprising<2 percent of all gastrointestinal tract malignancies. These tumors are known to occur in association with Crohn's disease. To date, there have been only two documented cases of adenocarcinoma arising at the site of previous strictureplasty reported in the literature.
